We are incredibly proud to announce that Fitz2Kleen has been awarded the Diamond Distinction Award 2026 for Leading Specialist Cleaning Company – Coventry & Warwickshire.
Receiving this award means a great deal to Mark and me. Not because of the trophy itself, but because it reminds us just how far we’ve come.
Back in 2008 there were no shiny vans, no specialist equipment and certainly no awards.
There was just an old Toyota Starlet hatchback, a boot full of cleaning products and two people determined to build a business we could be proud of.
The Starlet wasn’t a choice… it was all we could afford.
If we’re honest, we were skint. Every penny we earned went back into the business or towards paying the bills. A van felt like a luxury we simply couldn’t justify.
So we made do.
Buckets, chemicals, carpet cleaning equipment… everything had to fit into that little Toyota.
Until one day, while loading our carpet cleaning machine, the handle smashed straight through the rear window.
We looked at each other and said…
‘Enough is enough!’
We couldn’t really afford a van, but we’d reached the point where we couldn’t afford not to have one.
So we tightened our belts, made even more sacrifices and bought our very first van… a little red Vauxhall Combo.
Looking back now, it wasn’t just a van.
It was a leap of faith.
It was us saying…
This is it, all or nothing!
What started with one small hatchback has grown into a specialist cleaning company trusted by homeowners, landlords, businesses, housing providers, local authorities and organisations across Coventry, Warwickshire and the surrounding areas.
Over the last eighteen years we’ve built our reputation by taking on the cleaning challenges that many companies simply won’t.
From commercial cleaning, office cleaning, carpet and upholstery cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning and after builders cleans…
To hoarder clearances, trauma and biohazard cleaning, mould remediation, fire and flood restoration, environmental cleaning and emergency specialist cleaning.
We don’t just clean buildings.
We help people move forward.
Sometimes that’s helping a landlord prepare a property for new tenants.
Sometimes it’s supporting a family after years of hoarding.
Sometimes it’s restoring a business after flood damage.
Sometimes it’s helping people through some of the most difficult days of their lives.
Behind every job is a person who needs someone they can trust.
That’s what we’ve tried to be since 2008.

This award isn’t just for what we’ve achieved this year.
It’s for every early morning, every late finish, every difficult decision, every sacrifice, every challenge we’ve overcome and every customer who placed their trust in us.
